Free Shipping

At ClarkFamily, we believe shopping should be simple and stress-free. That’s why shipping is included in the listed price for some products.

For some orders shipped to the United States and Canada, free shipping may be available. However, not all products or orders qualify for free shipping. When free shipping applies, no separate shipping fee will be charged at checkout.

Shipping costs vary depending on your delivery location. The displayed shipping amounts of $20.00 USD for U.S. orders and $39.00 USD for international orders are estimates only, not fixed prices. Your actual shipping cost may be zero, higher, or lower than these estimates, and is calculated at checkout.

Processing Time

All orders are processed within 1–5 business days after payment has been confirmed.

Estimated Delivery Times

Once an order has shipped, delivery typically takes 5–17 business days, depending on your location, the fulfillment center your item ships from, the shipping method selected, and the carrier.

Some items may ship from different locations and arrive in separate packages. This is normal and expected.

Some international shipments may take 30 days or longer, depending on the destination, customs processing, fulfillment center, shipping method, and carrier.

USA & Canada Packaging

Items ship directly from our suppliers may arrive in protective mailer bags instead of retail boxes.

 International Packaging

may be opened and resealed by customs. If a package is damaged in transit but the item inside isn't damage, the carrier may repackage it before delivery, so your order could arrive in different packaging than it shipped in. Packaging may vary, but the product inside will match your order.

Tracking Your Order

You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a unique tracking link for every package associated with your order. You can monitor your delivery status at any time through the tracking link provided.

Multiple Packages

Because we partner with multiple specialty fulfillment centers, orders containing multiple items may arrive in separate packages at different times.

Please do not be alarmed if part of your order arrives before the rest. Any remaining packages are still on their way.

International Shipping, USA, and Canada Policy

Ocean-Transit Risk Policy

To protect our company against losses during ocean transit, this arrangement is commonly referred to in shipping law as FOB Shipping Point, or Free on Board.

Under this policy, ClarkFamily’s responsibility ends at the shipping dock.

Transfer of Risk

Ownership and risk of loss transfer to the buyer once the package is loaded onto the ocean vessel.

We strongly recommend that customers purchase available shipping or transit insurance through the applicable carrier or shipping provider.

Carrier Responsibility

The shipping carrier is solely responsible for packages that are lost, damaged, or delayed during ocean transit.

Losses During Ocean Transit

ClarkFamily does not offer refunds or replacements for shipments lost during ocean transit unless the customer purchased applicable ocean-transit insurance.

ShipGuard Protection

If you purchase ShipGuard shipping protection through ClarkFamily, ShipGuard protects your package only after it reaches dry land and is transferred to a ground-delivery carrier, such as UPS or another delivery company.

ShipGuard does not protect the purchase price of the merchandise itself. It protects the package during the applicable ground-delivery portion of transportation.

ShipGuard does not cover a package lost during ocean transit unless the applicable coverage specifically states otherwise.

If you purchase ShipGuard and your package is lost during the covered ground-delivery portion of transportation, any refund or replacement will be handled according to the terms and limitations of the ShipGuard protection selected at checkout.

If you decline ShipGuard protection at checkout, the transaction may be considered final sale for losses that are not otherwise covered by ClarkFamily’s policy or applicable law.

Filing Claims

Customers must file claims for missing, damaged, or delayed ocean freight directly with the shipping carrier when instructed to do so.

Customs Duties, Import Taxes, and Other Fees

International customers, USA & Canada are responsible for all import taxes, customs duties, tariffs, and other fees charged by their local government or customs authority for both return packages and delivery of your package if any apply

Shipping charges cover the applicable transit cost only. They do not cover additional customs duties, import taxes, local taxes, sales taxes, or customs fees.

Prices shown at checkout do not include additional import duties, customs charges, or other government fees unless specifically stated otherwise.

Your local customs office determines the amount of any applicable fees. ClarkFamily cannot estimate, pay, or control these charges on your behalf.

If you refuse delivery of an international package because of customs duties, import taxes, or other fees, ClarkFamily will not refund the shipping charges or refund you for your purchase because you as a customer refuse delivery of an international package because of customs duties, import taxes, or other fees.

International Orders: Customs Duties, Import Taxes, and Carrier Fees

When your order ships across an international border, the destination country may charge customs duties and import taxes before releasing your shipment. These charges depend on that country’s customs rules and how it calculates the value of your shipment.

Please read the shipping terms provided with your order to understand which charges are included in your checkout total and which, if any, you may need to pay before delivery.

How Duties and Import Taxes Are Paid

Delivered Duty Paid (DDP): Under these shipping terms, the seller is responsible for applicable import costs, including customs duties, import taxes, and customs brokerage or payment-handling fees. Duties and import taxes may be collected at checkout and paid through the shipping carrier.

Delivered at Place (DAP): Under these shipping terms, the customer is responsible for applicable customs duties, import taxes, and carrier customs-clearance or payment-handling fees. The carrier may request payment before releasing or delivering your shipment. Additional collection fees may apply when charges are not prepaid.

How Your Country Calculates Shipment Value

Countries use different rules to determine whether a shipment exceeds the threshold for customs duties or import taxes.

Many countries and regions include the product price plus shipping, handling, and insurance costs when calculating this threshold. This is commonly described as a CIF-based calculation, meaning Cost, Insurance, and Freight.

The following countries generally exclude shipping, handling, and insurance costs when determining whether a shipment exceeds their duties and import tax thresholds:

Canada

United States

Australia

New Zealand

South Africa

This exclusion does not mean orders delivered to these countries are automatically free of duties or import taxes. Charges may still apply based on the goods, their value, and local customs rules. The value used to determine whether a threshold is exceeded may also differ from the value used to calculate the final tax amount.

If your country is not listed above, that does not mean customs charges do not apply. Shipping, handling, and insurance may be included in your country’s threshold calculation. Your local customs authority can confirm the rules that apply to your order.

Carrier Customs-Clearance and Payment-Handling Fees

Shipping carriers may charge fees for clearing your shipment through customs or paying duties and taxes on your behalf. These are sometimes called brokerage or disbursement fees.

These fees are charged by the carrier, not by the government, and are separate from customs duties and import taxes. They may not be included in duties and taxes collected at checkout. Who pays them depends on your order’s shipping terms.

Customs Processing and Delivery Delays

Customs inspections, processing, or requests for payment may delay delivery. If your shipment requires payment from you under DAP terms, the carrier may hold it until the required charges are paid.

The country examples above explain customs calculations only. They are not a list of countries we ship to or a guarantee that an order will be free of import charges.⠋
